Unsanitary Goal Celebration

St Jarnan is back with another creative goal celebration. The celebration itself is funny. I'm slightly disappointed though because he didn't wipe, or wash his hands when he was finished. I hope the other players on his team were aware of this and avoided giving him the traditional "high-five" to congratulate him. Overall, I give it an 8 out of 10.

Now blogging for Toren Veda!

Originally posted: TorenVeda.com

Hey everyone! I'm one of the newbies around here at Toren Veda. I was introduced to a few of you, and some of your activities and interests by Marvin. Him and I have been 'teammates' for a few years in competitive gaming, for Call of Duty.

I want to thank everyone for allowing me to be a part of this network, and thank those who directly had to go through different tasks to get me setup! I look forward to filling everyone with the randomness that goes through my head day to do.

I'll be mainly covering sports, and technology[ with a lot to do with Social Networking/Social Media]. I'm 24, from Summerville, SC. I am a college graduate, now working for Bosch Charleston. My personal interests consist of almost all sports, technology and gaming. To keep it simple, I get a kick out of being able to breathe each day. I'm dying to visit Germany and Dubai.

I look forward to becoming more involved with the Toren Veda "community" and each one of you specifically. I'm open to all ideas and any suggestions. See you around!

#Braves - Endless Twitter List!

For all of you die-hard Atlanta Braves fans out there, I have started a Twitter list just for you. I will continue to update it and try to reach anyone interested in being listed, but I will also need your help to RT my messages as well! Let's see how large we can make this #Braves network! Maybe we will build something more from there, especially with people like @Ben_Duronio ( Blogger: http://www.bravesologist.com/ ) involved. I must say I like the way he thinks.

Post this message on Twitter: RT @DexBadgett: I'm starting a never-ending Twitter list for #Braves fans. RT or @reply if you are interested in being listed!

Thanks for your help! :D

Awesome Easter! : 3/4/10

Happy late Easter to those of you that I didn't already wish Happy Easter to!

Yesterday was an extremely special day for me. I did something that I had not done in quite some time, and that I should reconsider- I followed with the rest of the world and got up and went to church at Cathedral of Praise on Sunday morning. I have been really slack about going over the last year / two years and it felt really good to be back and to see some of the old faces that I interacted with for so long! The topic of the day was- "If I Can Dream" Personally, it hit a lot of spots just for me alone in that one service.

After that I was fortunate to be able to spend a lot of quality time with various people. Amanda and I went to my grandparents house and spent some time with them, sat and talked, and it felt amazing doing so. We weren't able to do our traditional Sunday dinner with them because they both weren't feeling well (which was a bummer) but we weren't going to go through a holiday without seeing them!

We also have some friends that are ramping up the beginning of "High Praise Church of God" in Summerville. We were able to make it by and spend some time with all of them after their last service was finished. It's amazing what God is doing in all of their lives and with their dreams as well.

I was able to finish off the day doing the holiday tradition of having dinner with Amanda and her parents and visiting and spending time with my parents...and it was amazing. All in all I don't think there is anything more I could have asked for on Easter, other than the dinner that would have brought us all to the same place. But sometimes in life, you have to roll with the punches, and even doing that- it was a great Easter.

Hope everyone else had as great of a day as I did!

Oh snap- Back to back days with posts about Apple. As a Verizon customer I'm pretty excited to see that Apple is coming up with an iPhone for Verizon Wireless. I'm a crackberry user myself but I have wondered if I would like the iPhone. This just might be my chance to try it out!

I'm pretty sure I'm still going to have awhile to think about it though. I'll keep you updated.

WashPost: Apple, others boycotting Fox News -- The Live Feed | THR

My personal thoughts: Glenn Beck is a great guy who definitely seems to love his country. He isn't one who is going to lay down and let his beliefs get walked all over. I'm surprised that the Fox News network lets him voice as much as he does though because like said in this article, it could hurt the network in the long run. I'm interested to see what comes out of this!
